    A/ Yes, but unlike traditional medicine, in integrative medicine drugs are not the only solution, especially in cases of chronic and degenerative diseases. The integrated medical approach also takes into account complementary therapies to offer a more complete and personalized treatment.
  1. How will I know if I need a medical-nutritional consultation?
    A/ A medical-nutritional consultation may be needed if you have difficulty managing your weight in a healthy and lasting way, if you suffer from pathologies that can improve through nutrition, or if you often feel tired and want an in-depth evaluation. A complicated relationship with food can also be a warning sign needing further nutritional counseling.
  1. How many times will it be necessary to come for a medical-nutritional consultation and how long will the treatment last?
    A/ The frequency of the meetings and the duration of the treatment vary according to the chosen path and your individual needs. Typically, our visits can take place every 2–4 weeks. As we progress, visits become every 1–2 months as we continue to make small progressive changes to your treatment plan.
  1. How long does it take to see results?
    A/ The duration of treatment varies based on the goals and complexity of the case. In some cases the results are rapid, while in others – such as in chronic situations – the process may require more time and continuity.
  1. Is it possible to lose weight without a restrictive diet?
    A/ My approach is based on healthy lifestyles and sustainable food choices, not on rigid restrictions. Diets that are too restrictive often do not last over time and can cause nutritional deficiencies, loss of muscle mass and a “yo-yo” effect of weight gain and weight loss.
  1. Should I completely eliminate my favorite foods to lose weight?
    A/ Learning to eat mindfully is essential. Completely depriving yourself of your favorite foods can reduce the pleasure of eating and lead to guilt or binge eating. Moderation is key.
  1. Can I indulge in a few “slips” without compromising the results?
    A/ With my method, we go beyond the concept of “slip-up,” which often induces feelings of guilt. Instead, we talk about a balanced diet, where awareness and flexibility are more important than perfection.

    A/ Yes. You don’t always have to prepare meals at home. My method helps you make conscious choices even at restaurants, when traveling or in situations outside the home, maintaining balance and well-being.
  1. Are there cases in which an in-person visit is preferable to an online consultation? A/ In some cases, a direct clinical evaluation is necessary for a more accurate diagnosis and to ensure a safe and effective therapeutic path.

    A/ It offers you the flexibility to choose between online consultations and in-person appointments (in Costa Rica or Italy). In more complex cases, the path can be integrated with specialist visits or collaborations with other professionals, including international ones.
